On one hand they managed to get people on Triple J to refer to this as the "world's biggest gaming convention" (haha) but there was pretty much nothing that we got through our usual PR contacts about this. We only stumbled across it completely randomly a couple weeks ago. the organisers need to understand how the internet works and stuff

I was supposed to be on that team.. completely forgot >_> I didn't even realise that had anything to do with video games, I thought it was a D&D type gaming convention. Only because theres a guy at work who is a massive D&D fan and wanted to go up to Brisbane for this convention. Apart from him though, I didn't even hear anything about it.
